Custom built by designer and builder, Michael Davis, a brand new 11,000-square-foot manse in Sagaponack could be your Hamptons retreat for a cool $23.5 million under Saunders Real Estate agent, Terry Cohen.

The traditional and shingle-inspired home hasn’t been finished, so only renderings are available at this time. But here’s what we know from the listing: It’s set on 2.3 acres, has eight ensuite bedrooms, three more full bathrooms and three half-bathrooms, and has 7,000 square feet of living space above ground with another 4,000 square feet on the finished lower level, plus an elevator to service all three levels.

Other interior details will include a 14-foot high great room, an entry foyer with a curving stair, ceiling beams, a wine room, and a golf room.

The exterior is planned to feature a 60-foot heated gunite pool and spa, pergola, pool house, outdoor kitchen, a sunken tennis court, an entry court, and a service entrance. Oh, and there will also be a covered porch with an outdoor living room which will have a TV and a fireplace.

So far, we’re liking what we see. It seems like the home will have a good blend of traditional, shingle-style influence, plus modern amenities that buyers expect in multi-million dollar Hamptons homes. We’re definitely looking forward to photos of the home once it’s completed.

Sited on more than two acres of land at 494 Hedges Lane, the south-of-the-highway property is about a mile from the ocean and about a mile and a half away from Wölffer Estate Vineyards. The property was purchased in September under a limited liability company for $6,737,500.
