At the end of January, former political adviser to the Clinton Administration, George Stephanopoulos, and his wife, actress Ali Wentworth, relisted their Southampton home at 5 Cameron Way for $5,995,000. Just over two months later, the home has found a buyer and is currently in contract.

After purchasing the estate in 2012 for $4.5 million, the couple first put their 1.47-acre property on the market in 2016, at which time it was asking $6,995,000.

Built in 2003, the 4,381-square-foot home has six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and one half-bathroom, coffered ceilings in the living room, an eat-in kitchen with dual refrigerators and ovens, and a covered veranda that spans the back of the house. For the studious, the first-floor master suite has its own private library.

Outside, the new owners will enjoy a sunken all-weather tennis and a heated gunite pool.

The finished lower level is perfect for families, fully equipped with a game room, media room with wet bar, a personal gym, a guest room with built-in bunks, and a 1,000-bottle wine cellar.
