Former Today Show host, Matt Lauer, has cut the asking price of this Hamptons home for the third time since it came on the market about a year and a half ago, reports the Daily Mail. After taking $2.15 million off the listing earlier this week, Lauer’s Deerfield Road home in Sag Harbor is now listed for $12.75 million under luxury real estate agent, Susan Breitenbach, of the Corcoran Group.
The 25-acre estate was originally asking $18 million when it first landed on the market, but has been steadily decreasing since becoming available for sale. He last changed the price of his estate in June, at which time he took about the same amount off the property.
Standing 8,000 square feet in size, the shingled home designed by architect Daniel Romualdez in 2004 has six bedrooms and eight bathrooms, as well as an eat-in kitchen, hand-painted wallpaper in the dining room, and cathedral ceilings with barn beams in the great room.
Outside, there’s a heated gunite pool, a pool house, and a Har-Tru tennis court.
