The 12,000-square-foot home at 258 Horsemill Lane in Water Mill has just taken $7 million off its asking price under Corcoran Group Real Estate’s, Tim Davis. The incredible estate came on the market in June of 2017 for $39 million, but after less than a year available for sale, that price tag now sits at $32 million.

According to the listing, the surrounding land “has been farmed by the same two families since the 1600s,” allowing for ample privacy. On seven acres of land, the property features 360 feet of direct water frontage on Mecox Bay, a waterside dock, an eastern-facing covered porch accessed by French doors, and a heated gunite pool.

The incredible exterior gardens are host to Sycamore trees, a rose garden, and 60-year-old apple trees, and are highlighted by dry stacked stone walls and gravel paths.

Accessory structures include an attached guest cottage with a fireplace and outdoor spa, and a carriage house which provides even more storage space or room for guests.

The main house stands a massive 12,000 square feet, but there’s plenty of wiggle room inside as there are just five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. Some key details in the home include a stunning two-story library with a fireplace and hand-painted chinois wallpaper in the formal dining room.
