The Southampton home at 382 Barons Lane that came on the market for $55 million a year ago has cut its price for the first time, shaving a cool $6 million off the listing. Now available for $49 million under Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Harald Grant, we wonder if this price cut will be what entices buyers to snag the oceanfront manse.

On four and a half acres of land, the property has a massive 430 feet of direct ocean frontage and ocean, pond, and field views. Designed by Eric Woodward and built by Harold Reeves in 1991, the 8,225-square-foot home is full of taupe interiors, bringing us right back to the ’90s. Inside, there are eight bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms between three levels.

The shingle style home features picture windows, oceanside decks, balustrades, window seats, a master suite with an office and fireplace, and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.

Outside, one will enjoy a heated gunite pool and a rooftop deck above the kitchen.

The property was last purchased in 2004 for $19 million under a limited liability company.
