Last week, Long Island saw its fourth nor’easter storm for the month of March, extending winter into the spring season for one hopefully final hurrah. The winter storm was reportedly supposed to coat the East End with up to 12 inches of snow, but most places didn’t seem to get that much accumulation.
After bits of sunshine poked out over the last week and we got to see some slightly warmer weather, much of the snow has melted and the grass is visible again.
We asked readers to send us some of their best photos from the storm, and now we’re getting the chance to show you them! One reader even sent in his photos from New Jersey, so we got to see what the snow was like for our western friends.
We’ve also found a couple great photos on Instagram that we’ll include.
