What would you do with the home?

Even though many people don’t consider Flanders to be a part of the Hamptons, this adorable pink cottage in the Water’s Edge beach community is just too fun not to feature. The fixer-upper needs work done to the interiors and could use some freshening up to the landscape, but for just $300,000, we’re thinking someone will want to snag the property up pretty quick.

With 1,000 square feet of living space, the home has two bedrooms but just one bathroom. Built in 1958, there are hardwood floors throughout, a fireplace in the living room, and sliding glass doors that lead from the dining room to a tiny outdoor deck that’s perfect for family dinners or enjoying the warm weather.

Recent improvements include a new roof, new windows, a new heating system, and the deck outside.

On just 0.18 acres of land, there probably isn’t much room for a pool. However, it’s located close to Reeves Bay down the road, and a quick drive to Hampton Bays and East Quogue.
