East Hampton beach house cuts $5M from price tag, now asking $65M

After just five months on the market, the oceanfront mega-mansion at 27 Drew Lane in East Hampton just received its first price cut, taking $5 million off the asking price. Previously listed for $70 million, the 13,626-square-foot estate is now available for $65 million under Douglas Elliman agent, Tal Alexander.

Sited on an acre and a half of land, the home is privately tucked away behind 20-foot high hedges. The modern structure is host to seven bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, one half-bathroom, a custom Valucine kitchen, and a fully permitted two-bedroom cottage, office studio, oceanside lap pool, and two-car garage.

According to the listing, the home was originally a 1920s shingle-style home. It was last purchased in 2005 for $19.2 million.

Drew Lane is located close to East Hampton’s Main Beach and about two miles from village shops and restaurants.
