There isn’t a pool, but there are bay views and direct beach access

An adorable cottage from 1920 at 59 Hempstead Street in Sag Harbor village has listed for $1,585,000 under Sotheby’s International Realty agent, Susan Sprott. With just 900 square feet of living space, bay views, and beach access, this beach bungalow is a perfect summer getaway.

Inside, there are two bedrooms and one full bathroom, as well as a lofted sleeping area for guests or a third bedroom, accessed by a ladder. Features include hardwood floors throughout, wainscoted white walls, a gas fireplace in the living room, and glass doors that allow for lots of natural light to fill the home.

The kitchen has a pop of color with cerulean blue cabinets, in addition to marble countertops and stainless steel appliances. Built-in storage units can be found in the bedrooms—but unfortunately, the bathroom doesn’t look like it has much room for towels and toiletries; the current owner compensated with a wire metal rack.

Outside, there’s no pool on the 0.2-acre property, but there is a deck, a storage shed, and water views.
