What/Where: A three-bedroom renovated whaling cottage from 1850 in Sag Harbor village.
Size: 1,700 square feet, 0.19 acres
Here’s another renovated Sag Harbor whaling cottage on the market—but we aren’t really complaining. This week, we’re having readers guess the asking price of this 167-year-old Sag Harbor home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,700 square feet of living space.
Located in the village, this historic home mixes period details with contemporary features. The home has its original windows, wide-plank hardwood flooring, two fireplaces, as well as Dutch doors and original hardware throughout. More modern features include the totally renovated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a gunite pool outside.
There are also vaulted ceilings in the living room, floor-to-ceiling windows, and French doors that lead to the exterior.
The home last sold for $1.19 million in 2017, so we’re going to start the guessing around that asking price.
