Originally a barn from the 1800s, this Bridgehampton home has been renovated with the look and feel of a modern farmhouse. Though the red exterior looks dated from the photos, the interiors are fresh and welcoming, with dark hardwood floors, white walls, and wood-beamed ceilings throughout. The exterior sliding barn door has been maintained from the original construction.

In 2,500 square feet, there are four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, a double-height foyer, custom light fixtures, stainless steel appliances, and subway tile backsplash in the kitchen. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the foyer allow for tons of natural light upon entry into the home.

Bluestone patios and a heated saltwater gunite pool are found on the exterior of the 0.8-acre property. Located at 2749 Montauk Highway, the home is off the main road, but situated back on the property and accessed via a long driveway to allow for a bit more privacy.

The property is represented by Nest Seekers real estate agent, Matilde Costales, for $3,198,995.

In 2008, the barn sold for $1.41 million. Here’s what it looked like before the renovation and its recent return to the sales market:
