Alfred De Vido—an architect particularly known for his residential projects—has just cut the price of his East Hampton home at 3 White Pine Road. Located off Northwest Road in the Northwest Harbor neighborhood, the home first came on the market in July of 2017 for $1,895,000, but after just one month available for sale, the home received its first price cut which brought it down to $1,795,000.

Six months later, the most recent price cut brings the listing to $1,698,000 under Douglas Elliman real estate agent William Wolff.

De Vido is particularly known for his work on the 1993 renovation of the Queens Theatre in the Park—a community theater located in Queens at Flushing Meadows Corona Park—as well as the Green Briar Development in Somers, New York, which was contracted by musician Mitch Millers.

He has published multiple books, including Designing Your Client’s House: An Architect’s Guide to Meeting Design Goals and Budgets, as well as several other works on the topic of architecture.

His 2,800-square-foot home has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, double-height ceilings in the living and family rooms, and a heated pool. Sited on nearly two acres of land, the home has been recently updated, with renovations bringing in a new kitchen, bathroom, windows, and roof, while the hardwood floors throughout the home were refinished.
