Located south of the highway in Amagansett, the 2.33-acre property at 90 Indian Wells Highway that was once listed for $18 million when it came on the market in January of 2017 has sold for $10.5 million.
The most recent asking price was $11.5 million. A contract was signed in August and the deal closed earlier this week. Corcoran Group agent Randi Ball represented the listing.
Built in 1909, the 6,488-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and 12 and a half bathrooms, hardwood floors, beamed ceilings, a sizable kitchen, multiple fireplaces, and a double-height living room. Outside, the property includes covered outdoor porches, a detached two-car garage, a heated pool, a pool house, and mature landscaping.
Philanthropist Jane Rivkin purchased the home in 2010 for $6.5 million.
New homeowners will enjoy the quick 0.4-mile walk to the ocean at Indian Wells Beach. The home is located about the same distance from Amagansett’s Main Street.
