Built in 1969, this midcentury A-frame on Gerard Drive in the Springs neighborhood of East Hampton is on the market for $1.05 million. It looks like the kitchen has been recently renovated, but parts of the house are still a bit dated—but we think with the right touch, this house has a lot of potential and would make a great project.

The house spans 1,250 square feet in size with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, hardwood floors, an open floorplan, and a wall of windows that allows ample natural light and water views into the living and dining room. The listing also claims that the floor-to-ceiling windows are storm-proof and brand new.

Homeowners will be afforded private access to bay beaches, while across the street is protected wetlands. Unfortunately there’s no pool, but there is an outdoor shower and mahogany decking.

The Zillow price history lists the most recent purchase in 2005 with an $850,000 closing cost.

Halstead real estate agent David Zazula represents the listing.
