Originally built in 1900 and more recently restored and brought up to date, the Victorian style house at 71 Jermain Avenue in Sag Harbor has sold for $3.2 million, according to data provided by Out East.

The 5,500-square-foot house went up for sale back in March of 2016 for $5.75 million and has dropped its price several times over the course of its two and a half years on the market. The 1-acre property went into contract in early November, and closed earlier this week for $3.2 million. The final sales price is 55.7 percent of the original ask.

Inside, there are five bedrooms, four full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, smart home technology, period details, coffered ceilings, original moldings and doorknobs, multiple fireplaces, and a brand new eat-in kitchen. The master suite includes its own private balcony, while the finished lower level offers a media room and wet bar.

French doors lead outside, where new homeowners will enjoy a covered wraparound veranda, a saltwater gunite pool, a pool house with a full bathroom, and a detached garage.

Brown Harris Stevens agents Mark Baron and Jane Babcook represented the listing.
