We love the exterior of this house

Built in 1981, this triangular contemporary house in south-of-the-highway Southampton has come on the market for $1,995,000.

The house includes 1,512 square feet of living space, three bedrooms, and two and a half bathrooms. Features include an open floorplan, floor-to-ceiling glass sliders that open to the outdoor deck, and light hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms are a bit dated, and we’re thinking they will likely be updated once the house finds a new owner.

Outside, there’s a heated pool and patio space to relax, dine, and entertain.

Sited on 0.7 acres of land at 120 Bishops Lane, the property is just 1.5 miles from Southampton village shops and restaurants, and about 2.5 miles from the ocean at Cooper’s Beach.

PropertyShark records and the Zillow price history both list the most recent sales price as $332,500 in 1998. Sotheby’s International Realty agent Lawrence Ingolia represents the listing.

What do our readers think of the house? Would you update the interiors or keep it as is? What are your thoughts on the exterior? Tell us in the comments.
