In March of 2017, the shingled house at 715 Halsey Lane in Bridgehampton came on the market with Corcoran Group agent Susan Breitenbach for $8,495,000. After just over a year and a half available for sale, and several price cuts later, the home has sold for $4.7 million.

Earlier this year, the house relisted for $6,495,000, steadily decreased its asking price, and was most recently on the market for $4,995,000. A contract was signed in October.

Built in 2003 with designs by local architect, John Laffey, the 5,500-square-foot shingled house includes five bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, hardwood floors, an eat-in kitchen, a finished lower level, and multiple wood-burning fireplaces throughout. French doors lead outside, where there’s an entertainment deck, a heated pool, and nature reserve views.

The property spans 1 acre, located south of the highway.

PropertyShark records indicate that the property was purchased in 2001 for $1,555,020.
