What/Where: A shingled traditional in north-of-the-highway East Hampton
Size: 4,500 square feet, 0.38 acres

For this week’s PriceSpotter, we’re having readers try to guess the asking price of a recently listed shingled traditional in north-of-the-highway East Hampton. The house spans 4,500 square feet with five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms inside, as well as a fireplace in the living room, a gourmet kitchen, and a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom. Other features include high ceilings and a finished lower level.

Built in 2008, the house is still relatively up-to-date. Outside, there’s a heated pool, a pool house with a bathroom, and a one-car garage.

We won’t give away the address until we reveal the price later this week, but we will tell readers that the East Hampton home is less than a mile from village shops and restaurants, and a quarter-mile from the train station.

In 2015, the property sold for $2.5 million, so we’ll start the guessing there.
