Once on the market for $3,695,000 back in 2015, the attractive shingled house at 41 School Street in Bridgehampton has just sold for $2,685,000 three years later.

PropertyShark records indicate that the 0.4-acre property sold as an empty lot in 2012 for $1.4 million before the existing house was completed in 2014. According to the Zillow price history, the listing was removed in January of 2017, and then relisted for $3,195,000 in February of this year. After a few price cuts, it was most recently asking $2,795,000 with Brown Harris Stevens agents, Jessica von Hagn and Charles Persico.

Spanning a comfortable 2,500 square feet, there are four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, a wide open floorplan, hardwood floors throughout, wood-beamed cathedral ceilings in the living room, a large center island in the eat-in kitchen, and a first-floor master suite with French doors that lead to the gardens outside. There are two wood-burning fireplaces: one in the living room, and one in the dining room.

Outside, the flag lot offers a pool and patio space for lounging or dining. The property is located a quarter-mile walk from Bridgehampton shops and restaurants, and two and a half miles from the ocean at the end of Ocean Road.
