In the Hamptons, even fixer-upper projects can go for upwards of $1 million depending on the location. This single-story home—originally built in 1967—has just come on the market for $850,000.

The 1,800-square-foot ranch style home appears to be in decent shape from the photos, but it needs to be updated and brought into the 21st century. Features of the three-bedroom, two-bath house include hardwood floors, an eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a separate dining room, and a full basement.

Unfortunately there isn’t a pool in the backyard. However, on a half-acre of land, there’s plenty of room to add a pool and some patio space. There is already a deck off the back of the house.

The current owners bought the house in 2006 for $675,000. After purchasing the house, they totally renovated the kitchen, installed the hardwood floors in the dining room to match the living room, and replaced the original sliders with French doors. While there’s no fireplace in the existing house, one could easily be added, according to listing agent Rose Acton from Corcoran Group.

Located at 10 Joseph Francis Boulevard, the property is about a mile and a half south of Sag Harbor village shops and restaurants.

How would you renovate the house? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
