On Monday, we featured the home at 7 Cameron Way in Southampton village and had readers try to guess the asking price that it recently went on the market for. The home is listed for $6,495,000 with Corcoran Group real estate agent, Susan Breitenbach.
We did notice that we made a mistake and labeled two of the categories up to $6.5 million—so technically anyone who voted in the middle two categories were correct!
The 4,500-square-foot ivy-covered house includes six bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms on 1.5 acres of land just moments from village shops and restaurants. Interiors include a paneled entry, coffered ceilings, and a chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The master suite offers a walk-in closet and an ensuite bathroom with radiant heated floors.
Outside, homeowners will enjoy the sunken Har-Tru tennis court and a heated gunite saltwater pool.
In 2013, the house closed for $4.9 million after being on the market for about two years, originally asking $5,295,000. The property sold for $810,000 as an empty lot in 2002 before the existing structure was completed two years later.
