Our readers had mixed reviews on the house

When we first featured the century-old shingled Bridgehampton cottage at 212 Lumber Lane, our readers had mixed thoughts on the design. Some thought the 1,650-square-foot house was cute and conveniently located, while others pointed out that it’s right near the train tracks and the location would be an issue for them.

While it received mixed reviews, one person must have thought it was perfect. The property has found a buyer and is currently pending a sale after just three months on the market.

It was listed for sale for $1,195,000, but after a price cut in November it was most recently asking $1.15 million.

Featured in Will Taylor’s Dream Decor, the three-bedroom, three-bath house includes hardwood floors, a wide open floorplan, two fireplaces, and large glass French doors off the dining room that lead to the outdoor deck and pool outside.

The 0.18-acre property sold for $935,000 in 2016. Brown Harris Stevens agent Jennifer Friedberg represents the listing.
