A 3-acre compound with two houses in Water Mill seeks $19.5M

New, 4 comments

Which of the two houses would you rather live in?

The 3-acre estate at 475 Flying Point Road has recently become available for sale. Located about a mile from the ocean, the property—which has both a main house and a sizable guest house—is listed for $19.5 million.

In 2006, the property was purchased for $8.07 million.

The main house spans 9,600 square feet in size, while the guest house is a comfortable 5,500 square feet. Both homes have four bedrooms.

In the main house, one will find stone and wood floors, a living room that opens to outdoor decks, a chef’s kitchen with stone counters, and two staircases. Upstairs, there’s a master suite with two bathrooms and a private deck, while a finished lower level offers a home gym, bar, wine cellar, and sauna.

In the guest house, there’s an open floor plan, concrete floors, a double-height living room, and a finished lower level. Covered decks and an outdoor shower are located outside.

The two structures also share a heated gunite pool and spa, a three-car garage, and a tennis court on the property.

We’re interested to see what will happen with this property. Three acres and two houses is a good option for someone who wants to keep family members nearby or make an income off a rental. But we want to hear from our readers regarding what they think about the price of the estate. Tell us your thoughts in the comments.
