Every year, PropertyShark ranks the most expensive zip codes in the United States—and Hamptons towns always make the cut.
Sagaponack was ranked the No. 1 most expensive zip code in 2015 and 2016, but it slid down to the 15th spot last year. Coming back to the top, it’s now No. 2 for 2018’s list with a median sales price of $5.5 million, behind Atherton, CA, whose median sales price was $6.7 million.
Other Hamptons towns on the list include Water Mill (No. 17, $2,862,500), Amagansett (No. 35, $2.15 million), Bridgehampton (No. 46 $1,925,000), Wainscott (No. 48, $1,895,000), and Quogue (No. 76, $1.6 million).
Our Nassau County neighbors had representation with Old Westbury, Manhasset, and Great Neck all claiming spots.
