Shingled 19th century Bridgehampton home now under $8M

New, 4 comments

It was asking $9.95M when it came on the market; now it’s asking $7.8M

In February of this year, the shingled 19th century home at 25 Quimby Lane in south-of-the-highway Bridgehampton came on the market for $9.95 million. After about 10 months, the property has seen its third price cut, bringing it down in price to $7.8 million.

The 2.33-acre property is listed with Saunders agent Drew Green and Corcoran Group agent Mala Sander.

Inside the 4,700-square-foot home from 1890, there are seven bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, three legal above-ground levels, multiple fireplaces, an eat-in kitchen, a screened-in porch, and a second-level master suite with a sitting room, two closets, and a marble bathroom. There’s also a covered porch, a Har-Tru tennis court, a gunite pool, and two accessory buildings for storage.

The property is just a half-mile from the ocean at the end of Ocean Road, and about 2 miles south of Bridgehampton village shops and restaurants.

Also on Quimby Lane is a 4-acre building parcel for sale with an asking price of $19,995,000 at the 158 address that’s been available for sale since May of 2017. Nearby by closer to the ocean, an 8,000-square-foot home at 1223 Ocean Road is asking $10,745,000.
