A waterfront farm with over 13 acres of land in the Hamptons wouldn’t go for less than $10 million, but on the North Fork things are a bit more affordable.
This waterfront farm on Arshamomaque Pond in Southold came on the market back in September for $2,249,000 with Town & Country agents Nicholas Planamento and Joan Dischoff van Heemskerck. After two months available for sale, it has sold and closed for $2.2 million, according to Out East data.
On the property sits a 4,500-square-foot home with five bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, an open floorplan, a chef’s kitchen, a screened-in porch, and an unfinished walk-out basement. There’s also an attached heated four-car garage, a 500-bottle wine cellar, and a wet bar in the family room.
The property spans 13.08 acres, and 2 of those acres have residential zoning, so the new owners could possibly expand and subdivide. The property also has a horse barn with a loft, fenced paddocks, a riding ring, and 350 feet on Arshamomaque Pond.
