At the beginning of the summer, a newly-built turnkey home in Sag Harbor village came on the market for $6,995,000 as a co-exclusive with Compass agent Matthew Breitenbach and Corcoran Group’s real estate agent Mala Sander. After less than four months on the market, the property at 232 Main Street went into contract, and has now sold and closed for $6,515,000.

On 0.35 acres of land, the house spans nearly 5,000 square feet in size. Inside, there are five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms, plus an open floorplan, a marble fireplace, and a walnut-paneled library. There’s also a first-floor master suite with French doors that lead outside, and a primary master suite upstairs that overlooks the property.

A finished lower level adds to the footprint of the home and includes a wet bar and extra living space.

Outside, there’s a heated pool, a pool house with a kitchenette, and an outdoor shower.

When we first featured the property in June, our readers thought it was listed for too high, but it sold for relatively close to the original asking price. What do you think of the home? Tell us in the comments.
