In March of 2017, the 3.3-acre property at 863 Sagg Main Street in Sagaponack listed for $16 million. A year and a half later, the estate is now available for under $10 million.

During its time on the market, the home has had several changes in price. Prior to the latest price cut, it was asking $11,995,000.

With an asking price of $9.95 million, the current listing is 62 percent of the original ask.

The Bespoke Real Estate listing claims the house spans 9,633 square feet, but when it first came on the market, Corcoran had the size at 6,870 square feet. We’re thinking that the newer Bespoke listing includes the finished lower level. According to the current listing, interiors host eight bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, vaulted mahogany ceilings in the living room, a fireplace, a natural stone wall, and floor-to-ceiling windows and doors that lead outside.

A two-story master wing is situated on the eastern side of the house and has glass doors that lead outside, a walk-in closet, a wet bar, and private massage room. Downstairs, the finished lower level offers a walk-in wine cellar, a media room with a wet bar, a home gym, and a music studio.

Exterior features include a gated entry, mature specimen trees, a private waterlily pond, a heated gunite pool, a spa, and an all-weather tennis court. The south-of-the-highway land borders a reserve.

In less than two years, more than $6 million has come off the asking price of the property. With the most recent $2 million cut, do our readers think that it will find a buyer?
