Back in 2016, the compact 1,400-square-foot cottage at 33 Dayton Lane in north-of-the-highway East Hampton village sold for $1,425,000. Two years and a renovation later, the = home is back on the market for a higher $2.45 million.

Originally built back in 1973, the home received a total renovation and is—according to the listing—in like-new condition. The cozy house includes three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, an open floorplan, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, two master bedrooms, and an ensuite guest bedroom.

Unfortunately there isn’t a pool, and the 0.2-acre property is on the small side, so there isn’t a whole lot of space for expansion. But the property is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the East Hampton Library and a 10-minute walk from the movie theater on Main Street. It’s also just 1.5 miles from the ocean at Egypt Beach.
