Waterfront houses in the Hamptons are pricey. Sometimes even tear downs can list for upwards of $10 million when the property is on the ocean. But this renovated North Sea house on a pond asking $895,000 could be the answer for the person who loves the water but is also on a budget.
Originally built in 1965, the interiors have been totally redone and look brand new. Inside the compact 1,300-square-foot house, there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, an open floorplan, hardwood floors, glass sliders that lead to a new deck, and pond views throughout. However, we wish that the listing photos had been staged.
Outside, the 0.16-acre property does not have a pool, but there is a private dock right on Little Fresh Pond, which makes water sports like paddle boarding and kayaking easy.
According to the Zillow price history, the house has been on and off the market since 2015 and was once asking as high as $975,000. We love that the house is waterfront and under $1 million, but what do our readers think? What do you think it should be listed at to entice a buyer? Tell us in the comments.
