On Monday, we had readers try to guess what the brand new contemporary style home at 6 Lighthouse Road in Hampton Bays was listed for after recently coming on the market. It sold last year for $390,000 at a foreclosure auction, but we started the guessing at $800,000 since it’s a brand new house.

About half of our readers correctly guessed that it was asking over $1.4 million, but quite a few still thought it was between $1.2 million and $1.4 million. Listed with Douglas Elliman agent Kevin Wells, the 0.4-acre property is asking $1,595,000.

The 2,700-square-foot home offers four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half-bathroom between three levels of living space.

Features include an open floorplan between the living and dining spaces, walls of glass, a second-story terrace, and a waterview rooftop deck. Outside, there’s a pool and an accessory structure.
