Back in 2015, a newly-built modern home at 289 Parsonage Lane in south-of-the-highway Sagaponack went on the market for nearly $26 million. Over the next three years on the market, the price came down significantly and re-listed between brokers, most recently listed for $17.95 million with Douglas Elliman agents Carol Nobbs and Erica Grossman.

After the recent re-listing with Douglas Elliman in September, it didn’t take long for the house to sell. The 2-acre property has sold for $16.15 million—nearly $10 million under the original asking price from 2015.

Built by Jay Bialsky and with professional landscaping by Ed Hollander, the 11,665-square-foot home has six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and three half-bathrooms. There’s also sliding glass doors, high ceilings, hardwood floors, multiple terraces, and a finished lower level with a home theater, wine room, and a home gym.

The property also has an infinity edge pool and a detached three-car garage. In 2014, the empty property sold for $8 million.
