In August of 2017, the most expensive listing in the North Fork’s Orient Point came on the market for $10 million. After over a year for sale with no change in price, the 27-acre waterfront compound has found a buyer and is currently in contract.
The property has 500 feet of private water frontage on the Sound and a 5,700-square-foot shingled home, built in 2003. The home offers six bedrooms—including two first-floor master suites—four and a half bathrooms, three fireplaces throughout, high ceilings, and custom molding.
Outside, there’s also a two-bedroom guest cottage, a pool, a pool house, a tennis court, and a three-car garage.
While the South Fork has more expensive—and typically more desirable—real estate due to its ocean proximity, it would be impossible to find 27 waterfront acres for $10 million in the Hamptons. This Orient property is a great opportunity for someone to escape and find total privacy on the East End.
Corcoran’s Sheri Winter Clarry represents the listing.
