The original Leisurama wants nearly $1M, but do you think it will sell for that price?

An original Leisurama—originally assembled in 1964—has come on the market for $925,000 in northern Montauk.

Located at 1 Gannet Drive, the time capsule spans 1,036 square feet in size on 0.22 acres of land with partial water views of Block Island Sound across the street. Inside, there are two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, original fixtures, an open floorplan, a Murphy bed, and an outdoor shower and deck outside.

Recently, several Leisuramas have gone on the market in Montauk. One in the nearby Culloden Shores beach community listed for $799,000 at the end of May, quickly went into contract, and sold above ask for $850,000 by the end of the summer. Also nearby, the home at 143 Soundview Drive listed for $835,000 in July but has yet to find a buyer or change its price.

Corcoran Group agents Peter Moore and Lois Moore represent the listing at 1 Gannet Drive. In 2000, the property sold for $233,000.

What do our readers think of this midcentury prefab? How long do you think it will sit on the market for? What do you think it will eventually sell for? Tell us in the comments.
