Built in 2015, the 2.2-acre property at 68 Hedges lane in south-of-the-highway Sagaponack came on the market three years ago for $22.9 million. After several price cuts—the most recent $1,045,000 price cut happening last week—the home is now listed for $14.95 million with Corcoran Group agents Debbie Brenneman, Charlie Esposito, and Debbie Loeffler, and with Sotheby’s International Realty agents Marilyn Clark and Frank Newbold.

According to the Zillow price history, the most recent cut is the second time that the property has had a decrease in price this year. In 2016, the home went from $22.9 million to $19.99 million, then in 2017 it went down again to $17.9 million. Earlier this year in May, the listing price went to $15,995,000, and now it’s currently sitting at $14.95 million.

Inside the 8,900-square-foot Frank Greenwald-designed home, there are seven bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, and two half-bathrooms.

Features include a winding staircase in the foyer, a double-height living room, a wet bar in the library, a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an adjacent butler’s pantry, and a master suite with a fireplace and a private deck. There’s also a wine cellar and geothermal heating and cooling.

Outside, there’s a heated parking courtyard that melts snow in the winter, a two-car garage, a heated pool, a pool house with a full bathroom and gym, and a tennis court. The property is located a mile form the ocean at Gibson Beach.

We want to hear from our readers: What do you think of the asking price? Do you think the most recent price cut will entice a buyer?
