Located in the Cold Spring Point beach community, this recently renovated waterfront home at 20 Sandgate Lane in Southampton is on the market for $2.65 million.

Interiors of the 2,419-square-foot home include four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, an open floorplan, bay windows, hardwood floors, and water views throughout. Sliders off the living room and master suite lead out to a wraparound deck overlooking the canal, while a third-floor private loft provides some extra space.

Outside, there’s a pool and a boat slip on bulkheaded canal frontage. Residents also have access to community beaches and a tennis court.

Sandgate Lane is sited on a privately located pocket of land north of the highway in Southampton, between Cold Spring Pond and the Peconic Bay. On a map, it looks like it’s part of Shinnecock Hills, but a creek divides the two areas. The half-acre property is near Sebonac and Shinnecock Hills golf clubs, and about 5 miles west of Southampton village shops and restaurants.

It came on the market in August of this year for $2.75 million and cut its price last month in September. It last sold for $384,500 in 1994.
