The 1.9-acre property at 405 Captain’s Neck Lane in Southampton has received an offer and is currently pending a sale after being on the market since 2014.

According to the Zillow price history, the home first became available for sale in June of 2014 for $10,995,000 before raising its price to $11.2 million just a month later. It was then only available to rent, and in 2016 returned to the sales market for the original $10,995,000 asking price.

After a few more small price cuts, the property was last listed for $9.1 million, which is what is was most recently asking when it went into contract.

The 4,300-square-foot home has five bedrooms, five full bathrooms, and one half-bathroom, as well as first- and second-floor master suites, water views, and a large kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Outside, one will find a dock on a creek that leads right into Shinnecock Bay and a heated gunite pool.

If the home doesn’t have enough space for the buyer, they can expand. The listing claims that the property has a large enough building envelope to accommodate a 10,000-square-foot home.

Susan Hovdesven from Douglas Elliman represents the listing.
