Curbed readers may remember that earlier this year in January, we featured a modern home in East Hampton’s Northwest Woods that was once featured on Country Music Television’s reality TV show, My Big Redneck Vacation. When we first wrote about the home at 85 Oyster Shores Road, it was listed for $4.25 million with Douglas Elliman, but after recently resisting with Saunders, the home also came down in price and is now asking $3,999,000.
During its time on the market, the highest asking price it’s had was $6.75 million back in 2015 when it first went up for sale. Before that, in 2010 it sold for $4.5 million—which means it’s now asking half a million less than what the current owners purchased it for.
Originally built in 1984, the home has received some updates since its original construction. Features include beamed cathedral ceilings in the living room, a modern fireplace, and walls of windows and sliding glass doors to maximize the natural light and water views. There’s also a wine cellar, a dock, a pool, a three-car garage, and a tennis court on 3.6 acres of land.
The 4,500-square-foot home offers five bedrooms and four full bathrooms.
Saunders agents Jennifer Wilson and Treacy Cotter Villante represent the listing.
