Would you keep that floral wallpaper in the dining room?

If you’re in search of a fixer-upper project, this 123-year-old Greenport home could be the very thing you need. Built in 1895, the 1,800-square-foot home definitely needs some work done, but after a renovation that restores its 19th century charm, it could be totally worth it.

Inside, there are three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms on a 0.3-acre lot right in Greenport village. Features include hardwood floors throughout, stained glass windows, a fireplace in the living room, an eat-in kitchen, and a second-level master suite. Outside, there’s an adorable front porch and a detached two-car garage.

We’ve got to ask our readers: Would you nix the floral wallpaper in the dining room? The mismatched wallpaper may understandably not be your thing, but there have been instances where someone will renovate a 19th century home but maintain some interesting wall decal. And in this case, it could very well act as a cool accent wall if done right.

It’s on the market for $749,000. According to PropertyShark records, the property was purchased in 2000 for $50,000. Located at 711 Main Street, the home is just a half-mile from Claudio’s Restaurant.

Mariah Mills and Carol Szynaka from Daniel Gale represent the listing.
