The totally renovated shingled cottage at 298 Division Street in Sag Harbor village has just come on the market for $2,395,000. Originally built in 1947, the quaint home is now move-in ready.

Inside a cozy 2,000 square feet, there are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, a stone fireplace in the great room, and a home theater on the finished lower level. We’re particularly fond of the hardwood floors throughout the home and the French doors that lead outside to the exterior living space.

The 0.2-acre property offers a heated pool and dining patio outside. The village home is located less than a mile from village shops and restaurants, and about the same distance from Haven’s Beach.

According to PropertyShark records, the home was purchased back in 2007 for $1.6 million. Nearby at 274 Division Street, a shingled home standing twice the size with five bedrooms and six bathrooms is listed for a higher $2,795,000—but the price has come down during its time on the market. At 233 Madison Street, a 2,300-square-foot renovated home from 1840 is listed for $2,685,000.

Considering the last sales price and nearby homes, what do you think of the price on this shingled cottage? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
