What/Where: A French-style manor in Southampton’s estate section, sitting south of the highway.
Size: 8,800 square feet, 1.9 acres.

This week’s PriceSpotter is an 8,800-square-foot “French country traditional,” as described in the listing, with seven bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and one half bathroom on nearly two full acres of land. Built in 2007, the home has been completely renovated and currently features an antique imported front door, a marble foyer, and fireplaces in both the living room and formal dining room. In the eat-in kitchen, one will find a marble island, limestone counters, two dishwashers, and a bar with a wine cooler.

The second-story master suite features vaulted wood-beamed ceilings, a walk-in closet, a private office, and a master bathroom with radiant heated floors and a fireplace. There’s also a private terrace off the master bedroom, with French doors leading outside.

Outside, one will find high hedging for privacy, a heated gunite pool, spa, pergola, pool house with full bathroom, and a three-car garage.

The property last sold in 2005 for $5.9 million. Since the current home was built after the property last sold 13 years ago—and Southampton estate section real estate has increased in value—we’ll start the guessing at under $10 million.
