Earlier this month, golfer Raymond Floyd took more than $5 million off the asking price of his Southampton mansion known as Mulligan. Just this week, an addition $2 million has been cut from the estate—bringing the home down in price by nearly $7 million over the course of just a month.
Mulligan came on the market under Sotheby’s International Realty agent Harald Grant back in August of 2017 for $24,995,000. It’s now listed for $17.5 million.
Floyd has also decided to offer Mulligan as two separate listings—the full compound for $17.5 million, and the main residence at 65 Captains Neck Lane with the pool, tennis court, but without the guest cottage, is asking $14.25 million by itself.
Built in 1999, the incredible Captains Neck Lane estate in Southampton is 14,000 square feet in size and sits on 3.25 acres of land. The shingle-style home features an entry foyer with a powder room, a butler’s panty off the chef’s kitchen, a full guest suite with four guest bedrooms, and a master suite with an outdoor deck, fireplace, and two walk-in closets.
Downstairs, the finished lower level has a mirrored gym, wine cellar, and laundry room. Staff quarters sit above the attached two-car garage.
Outside, there are patios, covered porches, a heated gunite pool, a Har-Tru tennis court, and fruit trees. A guest house—which is part of the full estate—has four bedrooms, two of which feature direct access outdoors.
