Built in 1928 by the early president of Merck & Co. Pharmaceuticals, George W. Merck, this oceanfront beach house stands 3,000 square feet with four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and one half-bathroom on 1.6 acres of land. Known as Sundune, this home has 175 feet of direct ocean frontage, period details including a Dutch front door and exposed beams, and an outdoor shower.

Standing 2,600 square feet, there are four bedrooms and four bathrooms on two oceanfront acres of land. The home is currently undergoing a renovation. The home will feature ocean views, a chef’s kitchen, a heated oceanside gunite pool with a spa, and a two-car garage. There’s also room for tennis on the property.

Built in 1990, the home last sold in 1995 for $1.3 million.


167 Dune Road: $9.75M

This 3,500-square-foot home sits on an acre of oceanfront land. Built in 2016, the fully-furnished home is turnkey, with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms inside, plus an oceanside pool and private walkway to the beach. Interior features include a gym, security system, and a private balcony and fireplace in the master suite.


158 Dune Road: $9.5M

With 2,200 square feet of living space, this is the smallest home featured, but it’s on the largest plot of land—nearly three acres. There are four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms in the oceanfront contemporary home, plus an open floor plan, ocean and bay side decks, and 200 feet of ocean frontage.

The property could allow for a 10,000-square-foot structure with a pool, tennis, and garage.
