A waterfront dome-shaped house in Flanders asks $729K

Seriously, who wouldn’t want to live in a house reminiscent of a spaceship?

For those looking for something that brings them back to their childhood dream of owning a spaceship, the waterfront dome-shaped house at 48 Huntington Avenue in Flanders could just be the answer you’ve been looking for.

Built in 1997, the 1,762-square-foot-home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms on almost a full acre of land. Inside, one will find an open floor plan in the living and dining spaces, and water views over Reeves Bay.

From the photos, it looks like the interiors have been updated since the ’90s with hardwood floors throughout the main living space and white walls that illuminate the natural light.

The home last sold in 2005 for $728,500 and came on the market back in July for $899,000. Earlier this month, the home had a reduction in asking price, now going for $729,000 under Douglas Elliman agents Enzo Morabito and Regina Cigna.

Who’s ready for blast off?
