East Hampton home with horse stables on the property asks $9.25M

The property has over five acres of land

Located north of the highway in East Hampton, the estate at 143 Town Lane just came on the market for $9.25 million. The 3,500-square-foot home sits on over five acres of land, on which resides an eight-stall heated horse stable with Dutch doors, a hayloft, a tack room, and a wash stall. There’s also an office, irrigated Grand Prix field, and fiber sand ring.

Unfortunately, there are no interior photos available on the listing. Built in 2001, the home features four bedrooms, five bathrooms, an open living space, gourmet kitchen, mudroom, and finished lower level with a laundry room and storage space. Outside, there’s a gunite pool, bluestone patios, a lily pond, and mature landscaping.

In recent history, the home sold in 2004 for $2.2 million, and then in 2006 for $5.4 million. Right now, it’s one of the most expensive homes available for sale in the immediate area that are north of the highway—and it’s even more expensive than some of the south of the highway homes nearby. While those less expensive homes tend to have smaller lots, they are still closer to the ocean.

In addition, due to the lack of interior photos, we don’t know how much work needs to be done to the inside. But if a private horse farm with everything you need is what you’re looking for, than this could just be the place for you.

The property is listed with Jane Babcook and Mark Baron of Brown Harris Stevens.
