Hamptons homes for sale along the S92 bus route

The S92 bus route runs all the way from the Orient Point ferry dock on the North Fork to the East Hampton railroad station on the South Fork. Today, we’re bringing you three homes that are for sale in the Hamptons along the S92’s bus route.

172 County Road 39A, Southampton

This 1,300-square-foot home was built in 1930, and according to the listing, needs a bit of TLC. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom on just 0.23 acres, so there isn’t a whole lot of space here but the lot does have room for a pool. The original wood floors are still in the structure, as well as a brick fireplace in the living room, and a kitchen that needs a renovation.

The asking price for this property is $649,999. It came on the market back in June of this year for $749,999, but dropped in price earlier this month.

1748 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton

This home is in one of those weird areas of the Hamptons where the town is ambiguous. The listing on Trulia claims that it’s in Southampton, while Google Maps is showing it as Water Mill, but the listing states it’s in northern Bridgehampton. Given its proximity to the Bridgehampton Commons, we’re going to go with Bridgehampton.

The home has 2,400 square feet, in which there are three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. On 0.5 acres of land, there is a two and a half car garage as well as room for a pool, or as the listing suggests, a patio, additional structure, or expansion. The asking price is $1.25 million.

77 Birchwood Lane, Bridgehampton

This home is the only one that isn’t directly located on the S92’s route, but rather just off it—Birchwood Lane is just off of Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike. The new construction has 5,555 square feet, six bedrooms, and five and a half bathrooms, on a 0.77-acre lot. The asking price is $2,995,000.
