John Calicchio, chief executive officer of Apex Bulk Carriers LLC, put his home at 306 Georgica Road in East Hampton up for sale back in 2013 with Sotheby’s International Realty. When it was first listed for sale, the asking price was $7.5 million. The home then came off the market, and when it went back up for sale in 2015 with Halstead Property, the price increased to $8.25 million.

The price went down later that year to $7.35 million, and stuck at that price for a while. Now, the home is listed under Susan Breitenbach of Corcoran Group Real Estate with an asking price of $6.95 million.

In 2015, permits were granted to remove invasive species and replace them with native vegetation.

Standing 6,000 square feet, the home has five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and one half-bathroom on 2.7 acres of land. Features include a tree-lined driveway, hand-cut limestone from Provence which makes up the terrace in the backyard, a gabled roof, 23-foot vaulted ceilings, French doors, a grand staircase leading upstairs, a fully finished lower level with wine cellar, and a heated gunite pool.
