The home at the 386 address is the least expensive home currently for sale on Further Lane—and up until recently, it hadn’t changed its asking price in nine months. Just this week, the home went down in asking price from $8.75 million to $7.9 million under listing agent Gary DePersia of Corcoran Group Real Estate.
When the home was listed for sale in 2012, it was asking $8.5 million. The home then came off the market and wasn’t seen again until 2016, when it had a $9.25 million price tag. After four months up for sale, the price dropped down to $8.75 million. And most recently, almost $1 million was shaved off, bringing it below the $8 million mark.
Built in 2001, the 9,000 square foot home sits on two acres of land and has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
When Curbed wrote about the home last month, we asked readers if the price needed to be cut more. On the poll, almost 70 percent said that yes, the price needed to go down. Maybe this is just the change in price that the home needs.
