The home is officially the most expensive home for sale on Flying Point Road in Water Mill, followed by the 12,000-square foot estate at the 943 address, asking $25.9 million. Its next-door neighbor at 975 Flying Point Road is a 2.91-acre lot asking $9.8 million—which is also waterfront on Channel Pond.

In April of 2016, the property sold for $10.6 million.
