Waterfront teardown in Sag Harbor asking $2.9M

Right on the bay

In the Hamptons, teardowns are all about the property value. When Rosalind Paige Cole’s Bridgehampton home went up for sale, the $10.25 million asking price was all about the oceanfront property—not the 1,200 square foot cottage.

A bayfront Sag Harbor home just went on the market for $2,875,000—and there could be some serious teardown potential with this property. The home is located in a cul-de-sac, and is located directly next to the community’s waterfront park and boat dock.

Overlooking Sag Harbor Cove, the home that currently stands is 2,144 square feet with four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms, build in 1973. According to the listing, the 0.58 acre property could accommodate a 3,300 square foot home.

Sure, the property isn’t massive and wouldn’t be able to host a massive luxury Hamptons estate. But being directly on the water like that wouldn’t be half bad.
